I GET TO PLAY
The other day I finally got a chance to get in a game again – AT-43 to be exact. Me and Jeff P. played a combined UNA force, while Mark and Matt were the traitorous Red Block.

The game got off to a horrible start for Jeff and I. We didn’t have nearly enough leadership points and the dice just weren’t in our favor. Well, we kept on persevering (actually more accurately “whined our way through”) and things finally started to turn in our favor.

For me, my strategy of leaving my Fire Toads on a hill in a perpetual state of disorganization (without enough leadership to activate them) and soaking up as much abuse as the Red Block could dish out paid off. We slowly whittled away at the Red Block striders until the last one failed its morale check and fled.

This left a lot of Red block troopers against few UNA troops, but a couple three striders (including two Cobras). Due to time constraints, we had to call the game but I sure we could have still found a way to loose it. J
Until next time…
