MORE MICRO ARMOR – BUT WITH SOME NEW RULES
The other day we played more 6mm WW II micro armor, but this time we were also testing out some new rules that were completely card driven (a somewhat novel approach for miniature games). All of the orders that could be given, situations that could arise, combat results, etc. were in the cards in your hand and deck.
The scenario was a mid-war eastern front Germans vs. Russians. The Germans were defending with a mixed Kampfgruppe, while the Russians had an under strength tank regiment. Chris L. was playing the Germans, while I inherited the Russians from Todd W. after he was replaced by the Kremlin (he had to get going J).

The game was a lot of fun! There was plenty of battle chaos; a lot of challenge in trying to keep command over scattered units and continue towards the scenario objectives; and a constant focus on the game as some cards can be played at any time! There were also numerous moments in which events dramatically changed direction because of the choices made.

We had a great time (as did those watching). We all agreed to try the rules again with another scenario – they show real promise!
Well, until the next battle…
Tally Ho!
