Skirmishing With A Newbie

Lance and I took my American paratroopers. Nick and Todd had German infantry (with two light machine guns, I might add L). It was a meeting engagement, with the objective to seize a ruined house in the center of the table that dominated the passing road.

Lance caught on fast and had some success forcing the Germans back on his side of the road. I, on the other hand, became pinned down by a MG covering my flank. Every maneuver I tried, every approach I made just resulted in more casualties. Eventually, in a flurry of fire (and incredible dice rolls by Todd) I was wiped out. Lance was left in a very untenable situation, which ultimately resulted in his being pushed back.

All in all, everyone had a good time. My paras definitely need some help, having only the firepower of their M1 Garands. I think I may have an idea though…
