Alright, time to get back on the horse with this blogging thing. We have had a lot going on with the shop the last couple of months which has just eaten up my time. We have added new lines, brought on three new part-time staff, ramped up leagues and campaign for different games, and been spreading the word about all of the cool things happening in the industry. With all of that, there just hasn’t been time to blog. Now that things are starting to settle down though, I hope to get back into it full speed.

For this entry I have a few pictures from a local miniatures convention we attended recently. The shop sponsored a couple of games of the Tactical Assault: Combat Cards – one 15mm WWII Russian Front, the other a 1982 Cold War ‘what if’ scenario in Germany with 6mm micro armor.

Both games were teaching games, so the scenarios were kept pretty basic. Everyone who played seemed to have a great time, and even the crowd of spectators we had from time-to-time seemed to really be getting into the games. A big thank you has to go out to Mark and Nate, two regulars from the shop, whose help in running the tables and teaching the Cards was much appreciated! In the end, it was a lot of fun for everybody so we are already looking forward to what we will bring to the next Recon in the fall.

Well, until next time…
