BACK TO ANCIENT TIMES  

A few of the regulars at the shop are getting into the new rules from Osprey – Field of Glory. In that vein they are prepping various armies from different periods in 15mm right now, but with an eye to other scales as well. One of the guys, Doug M, has been furiously painting away the last couple of weeks on Republican Roman and Carthaginian armies.

The other night he brought them in and they looked great! I snapped a few pictures for the blog, so feast your eyes on these – and remember these are only 15mm models. Doug said he has been mostly using the “Magic Dip” technique that a lot of us have grown fond of at the shop, so he has been able to complete a lot with out much time put in.

The guys are eager to get regular games of Field of Glory running at the shop, so if you are interested stop by and talk with them. We have the mini’s (including complete armies in a box!) in stock, and a host of painters that can help get you started using whatever techniques you want to use.
