ARE YOU A COMBAT COMMANDER?

I have fallen in love with another (relatively) new game – Combat Commander. It is a more traditional “chit” type board game about skirmish level combat in WWII, but with a twist – everything in the game, from orders to die rolls, uses cards. You have limited resources & actions available to you each turn, and you have to use them wisely. The games have an unpredictable length (depending on the cards), additional forces may show up as reinforcements and a host of other events can happen during a battle.

In The Heat Of The Battle

I have never really been a big fan of the traditional chit games (they being a little too predictable for my tastes) but this game has won me over! I have played seven games in six days, gone 3-4 in those games, and can’t wait for the next battle. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who likes a fast paced game with lots of things going on at once!

I may yet make Sergeant… J
